AgapeFamily.com is being developed to guide you in the critical disciplines of Prayer, exploring the Family Bible and most importantly-Sharing of your beliefs and values with your kids. By using technology and great stories, we make it easy for you, and fun for your children to discover faith and build character. By partnering with you and your local Church we ensure that your children get real truth. Our program is centered on the Great Commandment of Christ to:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength . . . Love your neighbor as yourself. (Mark 12:30-31)

And, so our goal is to help children become four dimensional (i.e. heart, soul, mind, and strength) Christians, who love God with their whole being and live out the Golden Rule.

AgapeFamily.com will empower you to help your child discover faith and build Christian character. Christian character results from knowing what we believe and applying our beliefs to our everyday lives.

Our research has identified 46 values in the Bible that are agreed upon by virtually the entire Body of Christ. The AgapeFamily.com program uses these 46 values, 4 weeks of Advent, plus Passover and Easter to provide your family a common focus each week throughout the year.

Deuteronomy 6:5-9 commissions us to impress God's principles upon our children as a normal and regular part of everyday life. AgapeFamily.com's fun and easy to use helps plus your F.I.R.E. are your keys to passing on Biblical faith and values to your children:

• Frequency-No long drawn-out sessions: Short interactions instead. Ask God to help you capture those brief, golden moments when your child's heart is open.
  
• Integration-Build naturally into the normal flow of your life. Talk about God in the car, at breakfast and bedtime. Make it a fun and a normal part of everyday life.
  
• Repetition-Integrating God's principles into your life requires deep understanding that comes from hearing and repeating the key facts over a period of years and trying repeatedly to put them into action.
  
• Example-Let your children see the successes and failures of themselves, their peers AND their parents. Be real. Don't just tell them-but show them! Pray as a family and talk about God together. We'll help you each step of the way
  

God's touch is light and His parenting ways require much patience and years of time. But, with your love and faithfulness together with a little help from us, your child will discover deep faith and integrate it into their life in the form of a Biblical worldview and strong Christian character.

Heart to Heart

Which generation decided their children didn't need faith and values? None! Not even this one.

Parents didn't reject their role. They marched bravely into the battle, tried, and often lost.

In many cases we have the right dream but employ the wrong means. Church and school help, but cannot replace the role of parents deliberately impressing God's truths and principles upon their children.

Throughout the past half century, two forces have captured the attention of children with increasing success: Entertainment and Technology.

In the '60s kids spent hours in front of the television. Now they're hooked to Game Boys, computer games, videos, CD's, cell phones, cable and the Internet.

Entertainment isn't going to lose its luster. Technology isn't going to have a harder time delivering more.

What's a parent do? All too often we are just no match for the competition.
